Greenleaf “Under The *Star”

We remember and honor the 18,000 plus souls who are laid to rest at Brownwood’s Historic Greenleaf Cemetery. Many of these folks built the downtown buildings, streets, & alleyways we enjoy today. Many small business owners who came before, as well as their dedicated customers who made their business’ successful, are also laid to rest at Greenleaf. Since 2017, we and many others, have helped honor those who came before with illumination during the holiday season. As you journey throughout Brownwood on your self guided weekend Christmas light tour, don’t forget to include Brownwood’s Historic Greenleaf Cemetery. Hwy 377 South Cemetery Gate & turnaround open until 9pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the month of December.
